Oh Fanney,

You have blessed us more than you will ever know by sharing your words and

your heart with us.

I hope so much that we will get a chance to meet. I am one of 's

littermates on the 10th. I too have been in this battle since I was seven

years old.

May God continue to bless you.

I want to thank everyone for their wonderful letters and posts.

I had no idea that my story would touch so many people. I am glad it

did, for it did it in a positive way.

As my sister said, I have never been thin. I have never

been just a little overweight........ I have probably been morbidly

obese since I was 7 years of age.

I am thankful for my body for it still is ticking, and it still

bounces back when ever I do something good for it.

All your many, many responses made my heart feel warm. All your

warm thoughts towards me make me smile, and feel a part of something

greater than the fat, bad memories, and clothes that never fit. :-}

I have already started my new life. I respect me, now at the

weight that I am at, and as much as I will respect myself when I get

healthier.

Good things do happen to good people,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and again I

thank you with a humble heart,,,,,, your responses were overwhelming,

but it a good way,,,,,,, in a very, very good way.

OH yes, I am now in a litter, :-} I will have my operation the

6th of April. I thought I would be in clinic the 1st of April, but I

will not. It is not needed, to have 2 visits, and I have to teach

until 1pm, and it takes me atleast 1hour and 30 min to drive to

Durham.

We have a saying in Icelandic, it goes like this, " Suffering is

the laborpain of understanding " Well you can say I " suffered " for 7

months, and " gave birth " to a new understanding of me, life and

strength.

So fellow One listers, Thank you for allowing me to touch your

life, in my small insignifigant way................ Ragnhildur Fanney
