Guest guest
If at all possible I think the best way to try it is to just give it without hiding it in anything...i know many of us give our kids (old enough to chew, but not swallow whole) a fish pill and they chew it like gum and then spit out the outer gel part....and then " request " it if it is forgotten the next day.... I remember when we started (before they could chew something that big) I would put out 5 pills and 5 spoons and pierce each one and squeeze it onto the spoon...I went first (pretended to be brave) then all followed...they were our magic fish pills..and after that I didn't have to go first anymore...!!!! I guess my kids didn't get grossed out...but ask the oldest to even smell cheese doodles and he gags...makes no sense to me, either! Guest guest
Hi all, I've always just given Max his ProEFA capsule by squeezing out the liquid into a teaspoon and handing it to him. We started giving ProEFA when he was 22 months old and he has only given me a problem with it a couple of times. Of course, this child also loves garlic and lima beans!!! BTW, he also likes fish, when I serve salmon, he'll look at his plate and say ' " mmmmm, samot " so maybe any fishyness doesn't bother him?
