Guest guest
Mike... How many cals did you have to drop? Was it hard on him? How long do you wait before the med wean. That med wean may really cut the seizures!!! Keep us posted. . is@... wrote: Is he still on meds? Broc is on Depakote and we haven't had an opportunity to decrease this yet because they only like to make 1 change at a time and we have been lowering cals. Guest guest
We dropped 100 cals. It wasn't too hard on him. We were giving him 2 100 cal snacks and we just eliminated one. We are going to Disney World next week and I am going to ask if we can't start to decrease his meds when we return. I hate to make any changes before the trip because even thought he is still having seizures we have a pretty good idea of when to expect them and how long they will last. Guest guest
Boy, Mike... After reading all the responses to Adam re: Amelie, I am thinking that Broc is going to do beyond what you are hoping and thinking once he is weaned. It may be hard initially, and I can see you don't want to be weaning on a vacation. It will be hard to wait, though, too. But if the wean is hard, you want to be at home with all the support of being home. Keep us posted. It will be pretty exciting! is@... wrote:We dropped 100 cals. It wasn't too hard on him.
