Hi Tim

I don't have any inflammatory bowel disease, but like you I suffer when

I eat wholegrain -even the light wholegrain - bread/AllBran/grapes with

seeds (I am now an expert in spitting grape pips- grapes without seeds

are fine)/oranges with seeds (- again no problems with seedless

oranges)/sweet corn ummm it seems to be food with a husk that makes my

bowels move - very quickly I am sure if I ate all the food above before

a colonoscopy I would have no need to supplement it with Fleet. Also

have a problem with shrimps (not sure if they have a husk)....Strangely

though - Rolled Oats made into porridge for my breakfast causes no

problem.

- just PSC 7/05 from the bottom of the world in New Zealand.
