I was called 12-23-98 for my transplant, we drove to the center and everything was going as planned. They preped me for surgery, had me in the OR and knocked out. Then someone from the lab asked why are we getting O type blood ready (my blood type) when the liver is blood type AB. I thought it was weird when I woke up and didn't have any tubes running out of me. I found out that they made a mistake after I woke up a little later. Take about a depressing Christmas. When I was called again for transplant 12-29-98 I made sure to ask them the blood type of the transplant. The best part is when they charged me over $7,000 for there mix up. Now after 7 years everything is still going great. Take care Jeff
