Guest guest
Hi Bill, I have been reading the group for a few months now and I notice that you have a lot of experience with the diet and are able to answer most any question that is posted. I was wondering what your experience was with the diet. Do you have a child on the diet or are you a dietician. I am just curious. Guest guest
Have you continued to make a lot of changes over the years or once your initial fine tuning was completed have things remained somewhat constant? I guess I am wondering if it always seems like a battle to keep ratios and calories correct or if it becomes easier as time goes on. Guest guest
Mike, Fine tuning goes on forever. There is the initial bit, then there is drug weaning. Then there is trying to get things better. Then there is weaning from the diet. Foods have to be changed, new things added or old things subtracted. More meals, snacks, etc. We never got to seizure free. Things were a lot better, but still searching for the promised land. Then there is second guessing yourself. What if we try this oil or that recipe? The diet is totally trial and error. If only there was a keto pill.
