Guest guest
Thanks so much Gena. You know when I first joined here I was just about clueless. All I knew was I wanted to stop this yo yo thing and do it for real for life. I was fed up..I very rarely left the house..and could not think one positive thing about myself. You guys have helped me so much. With all your input and inforamtion..and just by listening. Who would believe that just three months later I would have a whole new lifestyle and each day I take a step closer to being comfortable in my own skin. You guys are great and I am very touched by this gesture Thanks, Rhonda In weightlossbuddies2 , Gena Grunwald wrote: > Hello, > I would like to announce that Rhonda (rhondageir) has agreed to help me > and become a moderator. And we'll remind you that you guys are incredibly capable and experienced and should have no worries. If the baby is HOH, then what a lucky little angel he/she will be! (grin) Congratulations! Guest guest
Well I just wanted to tell everyone that DH and I are expecting baby #3!!! March 30. It was a complete surprise and I have to admit that I'm happy it worked out this way. I didn't have to deal with the emotions of " well should we risk another HOH child? " . And to make things easier my husband and I have already decided that we should go through this thinking that this child will also be hearing impaired. UGH - 3 HOH kids!!! I can't imagine.......I wonder what the record is? Just kidding. But yes, just wanted to make the announcement because I'm sure that the further down the road that I get I'll start to doubt my apparant confidence right now! Guest guest
Sara - congratulations! I'm so happy for you... Oh - at the e School fall conference last year, the keynote speaker was a former professor hockey player who is deaf. He has four brothers and all those boys are deaf - can you imagine?! Only the sister and mom in his family could hear. I'm not sure you want to break that record?! :-) oxox Barbara saraandchadd wrote: > Well I just wanted to tell everyone that DH and I are expecting baby > #3!!! March 30. Guest guest
First of all, congratulations ! My bonus baby just turned 4, my other 2 are 15 and 18. Not that it's a contest, but as far as records go we have one patient in our clinic from a family of 12 kids, 7 of them with Usher's syndrome. They are all older adults now, but it never ceases to amaze me how well they all did under the circumstances. Guest guest
" bonus baby " huh - Sheri, that would be me too! My older sister was 14 years old than me to the day. It was kind of cool - it almost felt like having two moms at the time which I actually loved... Sheri Byrne wrote: > First of all, congratulations !
