Our current discussion centers on recurrence of PSC after transplant. Looking at many different studies, we find a very large disparity in rates of recurrence. It is thought to be anywhere from 10% to your most recent study that quotes 60%. Could you please share with us your thoughts on recurrence, the true rate of recurrence and if possible why such a disparity? Thank you very much, Barb Henshaw PSC-Support group member. Yantis, Texas RE: rPSC question Thanks. I think the main reason lies in that different centres use different criteria to define recurrent disease and the reported prevalence will vary as to how hard you look for it. I suspect these are the main reasons why there is such a variation in the reported incidence. I Hope this is helpful. Best wishes
