I ran into two security guards at my apartment complex who also witnessed the event... Just wondering if any other N. Californians were up and saw the comet? Guest guest
I saw something similar about a week ago. We were in traffic and thought it was a low flying aircraft, but it was WAY too fast! I believe it's the Geminid showers (http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/space/12/12/meteor.shower/). There is also a tremendous amount of solar activity. For those who live far enough north (and if the clouds ever go away), the aurora have been fantastic. Does get your heart racing!
