Hello,

I have UC and was diagnosed with UC 1 year ago. I've probably had it

for many years. There is also a family history of gut problems.

I tried the SCD for about 3 months but found it was greatly

interfiering with my family. The 6 month old has a diet. The 2 year

old has a diet. My wife could eat normal and I was on a diet. We wear

making 4 different meals everytime we ate.

I also didn't feeling any great success on the diet. I still take 10

Mg of Pred a day along with Pentasa. I unable to get into remission.

The doctor and pharmacist both tell me that 10 Mg of Pred is very

safe.

So what am I to do? Stay on an exclusive socialation diet or eat a

more normal albiet careful diet and continue using drugs that I can't

seem to live without anyway.

What foods were you eating? Did you start with the intro diet?

Did you eat illegals during those three months? Were you on the

Prednisone and Pentasa while on the diet?

Have your docs tried meds other than pentasa? You may find this
