Hi Joann,

I've sent my form to Dr. R and he told me they were sending it in. I

received my intense copy. I have 3 more contacts to get. I have a mammogram

this Thursday. My complete physical will be done with me internist her on

4/18. I'm going to take my pictures on Saturday. All I have to do is write

my patient letter and I just don't know where to start. My husband has to

write his and he is having g a little problem putting his feelings into

words. That's were I am, just doing my part and waiting on the insurance.

I'd love to be a support partner for you 'cause I believe it is the only way

to go. Where are you in the process?

Hey Deb -

I approached writing my patient letter like I did reports and papers

in school. Just go topic by topic (all are listed in the patient

manual) and start writing. You'll be surprised how easy it will be!

That is what I decided yesterday. Now I will restart the letter this weekend

and get a new look at it.

I'm right in the " pre-approval " stage with ya! Got denied last week, now

gathering my info (and energy) for the appeal process. I like seeing all

the approvals too, especially from those who were originally denied. Gives

me hope!
