Guest guest
Hi It amazes me what I am prepared to write about on here now! I recently had a colonoscopy report which said my colitis was virtually healed. However I still have frequent loose stools particularly in the mornings. I was wondering if the UC is not the cause of these (which I have always assumed it is could there be another cause eg. diet / food intolerance etc. I would be interetstd for any thoughts on this. Many thanks Tim (UK) PSC 01 UC
Guest guest
Tim, If you are taking UDCA (Urso) this might be the reason. I have the same problem since I started taking UDCA. Well, at least constipation is not a problem anymore.... Guest guest
I had my gallbladder out in the summer, I had a a stent placed into the bileduct and im also on URSO.. (i also had/have moderate UC) For 3 months after all this I had several loose stills a day... if not more... then i started taking Omega 3 seven seas tablets, 2 days after I started my bowel movements returned to normal and have been for over a month now.. I know they dont work for everyone, but If you have not tried them, i would recommend giving them a shot. Hope this helps, let us know how you got on if you do regards Phil
