Thank you so much. aël was very very bad again,I phoned a Professor in Paris and He sait I can get some dieticians for the keto diet at his hospital to try to help but I tried a lot of times but noway to get them so I had to make a choice, I couldn't follow like that, I found it dangerous for Nath. I decided to stop keto diet because the acidosis is too near! I decided to try Atkins modified diet , like that no more cream, not a lot of fat and maybe later on, with an other keto team maybe a foreign one, I could try again because it is too hard to see my son so poor. One other thing!I asked the neuro about ativan because here in france doctors never use it for seizurez...And he was ok to try so aël has it for 2 days now and seizures are better, I'm so happy to see an improvement even with a drug but if it could help him a little bit it would be great!! You are wise to decide to stop when you don't have good medical support and you can see that it is dangerous for your child. I do hope the atkins works for you, and I'm thrilled he's doing better even with the ativan. It is another benzo, so be careful with it, his tolerance with increase with time. Keep us posted on how things go during the transition. I'm always thinking of you guys!!! You are a brave mom. You definitely need a better keto team by the sounds of things. Love to you both and good luck - keep us posted of how he and you are doing.
