Dear Rosie,

Man, I wish you could be watching yourself from our perspective. I am

amazed at how, everyday, you get more and more and more " healthy " overall.

You may not feel like it physically, but the growth and openness you've

demonstrated the last few weeks have blown me away.

Do you realize, young lady, that about three weeks ago, the entire

prospect of just going for a walk just made you insane? You thought anybody

who would suggest such a thing was an alien.

Today your taking meds, doing enzymes, antioxidants, seeing your docs,

still working, starting websites for members to post their pics, offering

your services and time to work on an interactive international

members-map...and I don't even hear you gripe about your brother or son

anymore... Are they still living with you?

(Oh God - Rose, did you kill them? Oh damn... maybe I shouldn't have

mentioned them...)

I just wanted to write and say that I am SO proud of you... You are

willing to try what people are suggesting, and you are seeming to benefit

from it immeasurably.

Sure you have your sick days, we all do, but your attitude about it sure

is different than it was a few weeks ago... and you're not sick EVERY day

like you were just a few weeks ago. Man, I'm just really admirin' you right

now.

Here's to Rose! <---- raises coffee cup : : : clink! : : :

<< thanks sweetie...the headaches starting now, been

getting those daily too, so i think its time for a

walk and stretch these poor bones and get some fresh

air...at least the doggie will thank me for it LOL >>

i'm in so much pain today and for the last 3 days, and

i don't know if its my panceas or something else, but

my mid back hurts so much i wanna cry...the thing is

for the last couple days i've also had massive pain in

my upper and lower back too and also all my joints,

from ankles, knees, wrists, fingers, everything on and

off and to make things worse i am down to one

oxycodine and 2 tylonal 2's and it's the weekend...i

see the doc on monday, but this weekend is gonna take

its tole on me and no i refuse to go to emerg.,

everytime i do i end up in there for a week or two and

i don't wanna go running there and look like a drug

addict...i think i will try not to eat today, just

liquids and see what happens, tryed the heating pad,

but that was no help...maybe a nice walk and go get my

nails done will get my mind off it for a bit

Not eating is the best thing you can do.....Limit yourself to liquids. If

your intake of liquids drops off, you will have to go to the ER. Good luck

If I can do anything for you, please let me know

I hope this finds you and yours well

thanks, that was great to hear, but it hasn't been

easy, still in some kind of pain daily, but trying to

see things in a new perspective...just one day at a

time...and x-mass is just the worst time for me and

this year topped them all, but i'm trying my damnedest

to not stress over everything and just take care of

me...so all i say is 2002 bring it on...give it to

me...and i'll find a way to deal with it...oh by the

way, yes there still alive...my sons been driving me

crazy, but he's not here as much, you know new

girlfriend that lives far away so he has to always

spend the night and he spends alot of late nights at

the studio jamming...for the brother, he's been more

understanding and been keeping off my back, hopefully

that will continue...thanks again for the nice

responce, it made my day

Being the " tom-boy " that I am, I have never felt the need or desire

to indulge into such luxuries as those mentioned, but I've been

leaning very hard on the manicure subject. Maybe if I did something

nice for myself, I would feel better?!?! I'm willing to try anything

& everything at the moment! The gift I have given myself quite a few

times is visits to the tanning booth. There isn't anything more

relaxing then that, my friends! But I know there are alot of people

who would debate me on the subject, right? Hey, whatever works for

each & everyone of us. Hope everyone is doing ok this weekend.

Lots of Hugs,

I have always enjoyed the pleasure of a manicure and pedicure.

oh you should definately try a massage too, nothing

better or relaxing...my self desided to try tia che

(sp) the next one starts in two or three months and i

think i can manage to save up enough by then to do

it...but it all works if you can aford it, manicure,

pedicure, change of haircolor (i went for a little

redish with blond streaks, never did that in my life

and just love it) and hair cut...anything...if i don't

have the bucks...i just take at least one day, my

pamper toosweet day, kick the kid out and have a nice

bubble bath with candles, do a conditioning treatment

on the hair, do a facial, do the shaving thing...bring

a magazine and a glass of juice in and just soak till

i'm all wrinkly...climb out and do my eybrows and

nails and make myself a nice dinner and relax...its

great...try it ;o)

--I start relaxing Mon-Fri at 6:35am when My daughter leaves for

school, followed by my son at 6:40, Then my husband right behind him.

The dogs go outside and I have the house completely to myself. Take

my shower or go back to bed (rarely). Or I converse with Loreal 6a.

Then I work every other weekend. Being by myself is the most relaxing

thing for me.
