Guest guest
I just realized yesterday that I have been giving my daughter a 2/3 fruit, but not weighing it at the 2/3 weight since July. Yes, I feel really bad. She went 8 days seizure free while we were moving across country (she had no fruit in those 8 days) and I was wondering if the fruit could do this to a child. She would get one fruit serving a day maybe two. Would appreciate any thoughts or ideas. ~ Mother to 4 year old . Began diet 1/2004. First seizure at 6 months. Still on meds. Trying to get Dr willing to wean.

Guest guest
We all make mistakes on the diet. There are just too many things to consider. If you feel that everything is fine, you probably need to start double checking everything! Good for you for finding this mistake. Yes, if you were giving extra fruit that possibly could be enough to upset seizure control. Not definitely, but a possibility. Guest guest
My son is always worse if he has too much fruit on the diet, fruit that is calculated very precisely into the diet.We noticed that recently too, Nicola, UK
