This must be a cultural thing. Why are these (or other) pies

'impossible' ?

Actually is a marketing thing by Bisquick baking Mix.

The pies make their own crust...hence the 'impossible' name. There are at least 2 dozen or more for them :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Candace

I just made the cheeseburger I.Pie, and it is great! Like you I thought it

needed more zip so I made another one for tomorrow... :) I used taco seasoned

meat and toped it with sour cream and cheese. Just had a taste and it was

really good! I also learned that it fits great in the deep dish baker from

Pampered Chef.

Now the next question is... Can that same topping be used on any type of

filling? I was thinking on the line of a quiche.

Well, see you made the impossible Taco pie instead!!! ;) The topping will not work for a quiche. Since it will be I will of the quiche I can't imagine it would taste too good.

However there are recipes for Impossible Quiche...I'll post it for you :)
