Guest guest
well it went fine, was weighed and had his height checked. he 39 inches tall and weighs 37.4 pounds, ok here is the weird part, has weighed different at 4 different places, one at home he weighs almost 39 pounds and the one at the drs(ped) he weighs 38 1/2 pounds and the one at the wics office he weighs 38 pounds and now at the GI office he weighs 37.4 pounds, can weight jump like that in a matter of hours and a day? well since he is on amoxcillian, the GI dr gave us some culturelle, it is supposed to give him good bacteria since the antibiotic kills the bad and the good, they changed his enzymes to creon 10 to see if that helps with his tummy aches, if it doesn't then we go back to see her, other than that she said looked great and his weight was good. Today was a lot better than yesterday, and my eyes are doing so much better, I actually can see through the daylight. hope all is well with everyone, mommy of 3.8 yrs old w/cf and 7 months old
Guest guest
, Elliot weighs differently at all appointsments also. It used to drive me crazy and I tried to keep track of the differences per scale per doctor......anyways I don't anymore. Although, he is weighed on the same scale at the peditricians. I always request they bring in the digital scale and that way at least there isn't a variance between scales at that office. Also when weight was such an issue for Elliot the cf clinic would weigh him at the time of his appointment and..... because..........I am a neurotic Mom...... sometimes I would ask if they would re weigh after his bottle. Of course there was always a difference. Anyways I am glad that had a good visit!!!!!!!!! Mom to Elliot 11mths wcf
Guest guest
Scales vary wildly. You should really only compare weight using the same scale each time. I have found big differences between my pediatricians and the CF center. This is one reason why the CF center usually only has one big scale and one little scale for infants.
