Guest guest
STella takes 2 330mg pills of carnatine, breakfast and dinner, it's not cause her any increase seizures and I know the reason why docs do prescribe it, it's worth starting the carnatine and getting a good 2 weeks of base level, then if the seizures don't change, you can try decreasing the calories. My daughter seems to go lower on her BHB with each calorie decrease so each child responds differently. But patience is key, and not to hurry with the alterations you make. -- -mom to Stella, 5years old, started keto diet May 10th 2004 still waiting to be seizure free. Also on Lamictal, epam and Diamox. Anisa is almost 10 and a happy healthy girl.
