Guest guest
Believe it or not Amazon.com is a great source for gfcf food. So is Miss Robyn's Allergy Grocer (or is it allergen grocer). There are also a few frozen meals that are Amy's brand that are gfcf. My daughter likes them pretty well. There is a brand called Ian's that makes gfcf chicken nuggets and fish sticks. I just recently bought then and my daughter hasn't tried them yet so I don't know how they past muster. The other thing we've been doing is that I make her up gfcf pizza crusts and freeze them. Anytime we want a pizza she gets her own using the pizza crusts and gfcf cheese. When shopping, Amazon.com often has better prices especially when combined with their free shipping. Guest guest
Two I know of: Follow Your Heart brand - mozzarella and cheddar style (also Monterey Jack style, but I haven't tried it). We've used this on pizza, and it has the best taste. I get it at Whole Foods. Tofutti brand american or mozzarella style slices. My son likes the american style on sandwiches. Most " vegan " or " non-dairy " cheeses actually contain the milk protein casein, so be careful. > > > In a message dated 11/4/2006 7:30:34 A.M. Guest guest
What type of food do you want to order? Here are some mail-order places that I use: kinnikinnick.com (bread, muffins, doughnuts, animal crackers, oreo style cookies, etc) glutenfreemall.com (chebe bread mixes) allergygrocer.com (gf ice cream cones, snacks, cookies, baking mixes for cookies and cakes etc, baking supplies, EnerG pretzels, 's American Gourmet Tings) amazon.com (quite a large selection of gfcf if you are willing to order in bulk... Pamela's amazing wheat-free bread mix is very good and easy if you have a bread machine) The bread you can make with Pamela's brand wheat-free mix is much better than pre-made bread. The Chebe bread (not all are dairy free) is good for breadsticks and they have cinnamon roll mix too. If you google " Tom's celiac light bread " (or you can find the recipe in the files on gfcfrecipes group), that is a great bread too, and easy to make in the bread machine. good luck > > Does anyone know of somewhere you can order pre-made GF/CF food? Guest guest
Hey guys-can you tell me why you decided to put your children on gluten free/dairy free diets? Does it benefit apraxia/sensory issues or is it because they have allergies to these foods? I just don't want to overlook anything with my son. thanks! Haukoos <catnip9@...> wrote: Tofutti brand.
