Its true that the first year is very hard. I have found this so with Shelby.

Its trying to do everything you can for them and still getting frustrated and

worried when they are sick. You never know whether it is CF related or just

some baby related problem i.e. teething. My children always cut their teeth

with a cold. It looks like Shelby is going to be the same therefore more worry

about how long to leave a " teething cold " before it becomes something nasty in

her lungs. I will be glad when she has all her teeth and we can at least rule

that one out.

GRANDMA BEV. Thanks for the Informer you always know just when an issue will be

of interest to us here in UK.

However just a helpful hint here,

I RECEIVED TWO COPIES of the same issue. I think you may have my name and

address in your data base twice. Please delete one to save money.

Hi Margaret

I am just going through exactly the same as you with my son, he is eighteen

months old and has cf. He has had a permanant cold whilst cutting all his

teeth, he has got four more teeth to cut then hopefully( and I keep my

fingers crossed ) he will finally get a break from colds for a while. Anita

my sons cf nurse has had sooooo many phone calls from me of late asking her

advice that I am sure she will be glad too. At least I`ll know its not the

teething any more.
