Guest guest
My 9 and 5 boys made a list of rules for their clubhouse. One of the rules was " NO BREATHING " .....I knew what it meant but can you imagine their friends parents? My 11 yr. gets sick of breathing treatments and wants to know why she just can't get new lungs..... My 5 constantly tells me he HATES breathing....imagine whats Drs. would think of that............ Ah, there is always humor - albeit black humor......... Happy New Year........ Rosemary in New York with three children with CF - they are 11, 9, 5....... I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT "
Guest guest
I think that is really funny BUT , only because I know what they mean. It is really a trip.......I know it isn't easy to get them to do it. I just got back from being with my daughter Kelley and her family ---ERIN(wcf) is her oldest daughter. She plays basketball for her school...high scorer too. -She is tallest on her team as well,- 5'11-1/2 " ....She really had a work out & then the next morning her dad was getting on her to do her treatment before she left for work (as a teller at local bank)-Well, she said DAD...I am almost 18 -ran my self silly last night & there isn't a thing down there to loosen. well, he wasn't going to let it go. .. I kept hearing in my mind (?) ..Breathe DAMNIT!!...I started laughing & Kelley asked my why, she didn't think it was funny. I told her-- (Jay-dad) heard it & came into kitchen & he asked me to tell him about it. I tried to tell him that just every once in awhile -he needs to let her be...Missing one .....after all the above ...was o.k. She isn't a couch potato, nor skips often , so ease off. He kept laughing about the breathe damnit " & went & told her .....He told her he wouldn't do that anymore, but she had to know where he was coming from too. She will be living away at Appalachia. Univ. in August for 4 years, so he needs to feel she will do it, right?? :):)Anyway...Your famous now. I am sure Jay will tell everyone about that hahaha..But, it sure eased tension for them both. he got to say why he was so fussy..........loved her & afraid she wouldn't do them & get sick away from him-----AND, she got to tell him ..YES..she would be careful , just didn't like it being talked about. She knows she has CF & not sick.Thank GOD, sooo she will do what she has to do to stay that way as she gets older too...... GOLLY , I guess she is getting older .:):) love ya all. I am sorry this is so long. .................. LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV Re: Cute CF Stories My 9 and 5 boys made a list of rules for their clubhouse.
