hi there all i was wondering if any of u would be able to help my

daughter who was just diagnosed with cf about 8 months ago

now is having a lot of stomach pains. We have been back to the

hospital and they are keep saying that her small bowl could be

blocked. S he had a few pains in her stomach before but this is

everyday now i am getting worried that it might be her medication.

she is on her fluoxacillin and her crayon and her vitamins and they

have also got her on lactosose as well has any one else encounted

these problems.

My son who is 5 years old had been on Zantac for awhile (like 3 1/2 years).

He started having belly pains everyday also. Everytime I turned around he

was crying that his belly hurt. Dr. switched him to prilosec and he is doing

much better. It could be the medications. Ask your Dr. about it.

Hi my name is BeckyB.I have 8 kids ,2 w/cf, and 3others that have had other

feeding /food problems. With stomach pains it can be a lot of things with

cf.Too much mucous in the tummy can cause cramps ,so can too little

enzymes,my 4 year old takes pancreacarb because she has way too much stomach

acid she has severe reflux. Does your daughter have regular bowel movements?

Golitely(sp) is a drink that flushes the intestines to help clean out small

plugs in there. If she takes zantac it causes cramps in the stomach also on

the days she is having problems it could be as simple as dairy ,or too much

fat,greasey food.
