Well, getting all the letters together. I've been seeing a psychiatrist for

depression and panic attacks and I called him to ask for a letter recommending

we be stationed at Ft Bragg because of family support and that would help my

depression and everything. He refused to write one, saying that he couldn't. I

find this unbelievable. My primary care doctor can write one, why can't he????

I think he's just being a butt. Oh well, I'll just let my primary care doctor

take care of my meds. too. He's great. He'll do anything for me. I went

through 5 doctors before I found him. So now I have a letters from Abby's

pediatrician, EFMP (exceptional family member program), family advocacy, my

doctor, and the Chaplin. Hopefully that will be enough. I should have all the

letters by next week and then submit them. I'm already preparing a letter to

send to the newspaper incase it falls through. The last thing the military

needs is a anti-family article being published for all the world to see. We

shouldn't have a problem though. One guy in my husband's unit got a curtailment

from over here just because his wife went back to the states after they got into

it and then she returned back over here and he still gets his curtailment. It's

funny that soon after he got his curtailment she came back over. I smell a rat.

And believe me if ours gets turned down then I am adding that to the article and

let the Army explain that one. As you can see, I can be a very nasty little

woman. LOL I'm just so mad that I have to do all of this because they can't

care for my daughter. Abby keeps running a fever, it comes and goes. Is this

normal for a child with CF? No one else in the house is sick anymore. And the

other day she threw up twice, it had alot of mucus in it too. Again no one else

is sick. Her cough is gone now though.

Karrie mother to Chasity age 6 1/2, normal and healthy and Abby age 4 1/2

microcephaly, epilepsy, pachygyria, and possible Cystic Fibrosis. The list is

growing.
