Hi Everyone,

My son Bobby (9yr old w/cf) had his second sinus surgery a couple of weeks

ago, the ENT suggested doing a Gentamicin wash using the rhinoflo, hopefully

this would decrease the number of sinus surgerys for the future.....does

anyone have info on this?

Thank you Melinda and for replying about which cup is best to use,

we will try the lc pari cup. About the adult cf support group, I would also

recommend cystic-l, there are alot of adults there, they seem very

supportive. thank you, Carol Mc (mom to Tina 16 and Bobby 9 both w/cf)

Carol,

We have a rhinoflow and Aimee really hates it, we have tried it off and on

over a 3 year period and it never really helped. The thing she hated other

than the mess was the taste of the Gentamycin. Now we use the Sinuneb its a

nebulized treatment inhaled through the nose, right now we are using

Ceftazadime 2 times a day, its easy and quick to do, she likes it a lot

better. To find out more you can go to their web page at sinuneb.com, the

company will even get in contact with your doc to set everything up. Hope

this helps.

Carol,

I don;t kno what that is but I have major sinus problems and I am now using a

NeilMed Product called Sinus Rinse. You can go to www.nasalrinse.com for more

info. Basically it is a bootle that you fill and mix with a saline pack and

twice daily you use it. The water goes in one nostril and out the other.
