Guest guest
Satnam, I don't think the higher ratio is suppressing her appetite. My daughter was on 5 to 1 and still starving. We've had to start inserting an NG tube down her nose to finish off most of her formula everyday since she has lost interest in eating. I think it's the recent changes in my daughter's meds that have suppressed her appetite. Have you changed any meds? Sorry I can't be of more help. Jim Kristan is not wanting to take the bottle or any solids! Hi everyone. My little Kristan in the last few days has very little interest in taking the bottle or a solid meal. She is quite content just sitting and blowing bubbles, she's very vocal and sounds happy. I have to wait until she gets sleepy to get a bottle in her! When she sees the bottle coming towards her she just turns her head, doesn't want it. When I try a solid meal with her, b/c she just wants to blow bubbles it all drools out. I can't win with this kid! She has just cut two molars, is that why she has no appetite? Or could the 4.5:1 ratio be suppressing her appetite? She's on 735 kcal/day. She isn't crying, like I said earlier, she's quite content doing her own thing. Any thoughts? Guest guest
Hi Jim, Kristan is not on any meds. She did end up taking her morning and lunch formula today while a little sleepy and also had her morning water. I'm crossing my fingers that her next two feeds will go well and I can eventually get her one snack in too. Thanks for responding.
