Since last posting this morning, has been quiet all day. I

have taken readings every few hours and they are as follows:

12 noon - Ketones 3.3 Glucose 4.1

5pm - Ketones 4.3 Glucose 3.8

He had no fits during this time and also did not want to eat anything

but was drinking okay, so he has fasted all day but through his

choice.

I tested again at 8pm but he had a t/c seizure just after I had done

the Ketone and just before the glucose reading (typical!) These ones

were Ketones 3.8 and Glucose 3.7

He had another seizure at about 9.20pm and I gave him 10mg rectal

valium then and he is sleeping soundly now.

All the seizures are full t/c's that are really tight and they last

about 1 minute. Because he has been prescribed 10mg valium I won't

give it as often as every 4 hours but will give it every 8 hours if I

need to. I will see how he goes this evening.
