Guest guest
Recently our CF Center had a guest speaker...a research Dr. who does testing........ He said and we agree 100% that Quest and another big lab.....don't pick up everything...for example everyone with PA also has other bacteria that is masked by PA which should be treated..........the day after he spoke s sputum culture came back - NORMAL - our CF Dr. - had to repeat and send in house since he doesn't trust QUEST...... I am concerned about how we know which labs we can TRUST.........since this is such a vital issue! Rosemary in New York with three children with CF - they are 11, 9, 5....... I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT "
