Guest guest
While I do have a membership to the local YMCA, I can't get there as often as I'd like. So I am hereby making the following commitment.....I will walk one mile while pushing the double stroller with 2 kids Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning BEFORE my daily shower. My goal is to do it in 15 minutes. Right now I can do the mile in approximately 20 minutes, which is 3 miles an hour, I'd like 4 miles an hour. Anyway, just wanted to share. And seeing it in print makes it more 'real' CandaceMom to na(3) and (23M)"Each day of our lives we make deposits inthe memory banks of our children." ~ R. Guest guest
You're a braver woman than me, Candace. I HATE to go anywhere before my daily shower I won't even take out the trash before then - LOL - know what I mean? But I think you've got a great idea. You go girl! Guest guest
Jeanie, I do know what you mean. I used to be that same way, but once I had my kids I learned that no one really cared if I was made up or not. I even go to the store on occasion w/o make up!! A HUGE step for me. As for exercising before a shower, well it is just logical for me. I am a serious sweater, even in the winter I sweat a lot, so there is no sense in wasting water to shower before I exercise, cuz I am gonna be sweaty after and need another shower Plus I have notices a big difference in the way my skin looks form not wearing makeup all the time. I had very serious acne and was on Retin -A for a while and it did wonders for me. But not wearing make up all the time is one of the best preventative things I can do to ease the breakouts Anyway, more info that you needed I am sure, but I ramble sometimes CandaceMom to na(3) and (23M)"Each day of our lives we make deposits inthe memory banks of our children." ~ R.
