Guest guest
If that cheesecake is GF, I'll be amazed. How about the crust?? If it's graham cracker, and they usually are, you are out of luck. My dc got a gift certificate from our library reading program for afree dessert at Applebees. I called the nearest one, and spoke to themanager. He said the Berry Lemon Cheesecake appeared to be glutenfree from reading the ingredients on the package. He did seem willingto meet our needs when/if we come in. Is this good enough? This wasafter speaking to the girl who answered the phone, who told me the icecream should be gf since it is dairy (she was speaking for a differentmanager, who supposedly checked). Any suggestions, other than throwout the coupon? I'd hate to leave my dd out when the others get tohave their treat. Of course we could just skip it completely, butthey know about the coupon. Thanks,Laurie

Guest guest
My dd's school gives out Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza coupons for doing so much reading every month. Oh, joy. What I did was make my own coupons that were replacements for the pizza ones (I spent a little time on the computer making them looks good.) She gave me her pizza one (and I fed it to the garbage can) and I gave her a coupon for One Free Slurpy for You and a Friend! She loved it and never missed the pizza. > > If that cheesecake is GF, I'll be amazed. How about the crust?? When my son was in school and signed up for the read for pizza program, I went to his favorite ice cream parlor and bought some gift certificates from it and gave them to his teacher. Then when the teacher passed out certificates, he got one just like all the other kids, and we went out for ice cream instead. Guest guest
Also watch for flour in the cheesecake itself. Guest guest
It doesn't look like it from the pictures, and he read the ingredients right off the package. Guest guest
I will tell you that the Applebee's Berry lemon cheesecake does not have a crust. They serve it scooped up like ice cream. I only know this because it is one of their Weight Watchers menu items (to which I am a member) and I have eaten myself before. I am NOT the celiac in my family, so I have no idea whether or not it is GF, but I would imagine the possibility of it being GF is there. Worth a look in my opinion. As far as the ice cream, I agree with the other post ... dairy does not mean GF. I really like the idea of "switching out" the coupon award, though. I will have to log that one down in the ol' brain!! Meredith
Guest guest
I've had this before, and I had a horrible glutening from something that night, although it could have been something else. Applebee's has not been the easiest place to communicate my needs, so I just go someplace else that's more understanding.
Guest guest
There is no crust on it. It's basically some cheesecake flavored ice cream...more or less. > > If that cheesecake is GF, I'll be amazed. How about the crust?? Guest guest
It's scoop of this stuff that looks almost like ice cream. There is no crust and as far as I know it is gluten free. > > >Is there no crust on the Berry Lemon Cheesecake then? > > > >Thanks, > >Robin K. > > > >If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket > >and then give him only two of them. > >-Phil Pastoret > > > > > > > > _____ > > > >From: SillyYaks [mailto:SillyYaks ] On Behalf > >Of Laurie Liss > >Sent: Wednesday, July 19, 2006 12:00 PM > >To: SillyYaks > >Subject: Applebees desserts? > > > > > > > >My dc got a gift certificate from our library reading program for a > >free dessert at Applebees.
