I had someone ask me a while back about our diet and then said "oh it is Wonder Bread for you then huh?" I responded with "Oh I only wish!" Then I told them that I had to make homemade bread because Wonder bread still is made out of wheat flour.

It did give me a chance to laugh a bit though which I really needed to do that day!

I do have to admit that it is funny to have pulled one off on people but are these people that you would leave your daughter with? Do you want to have them thinking the "flour" is okay? That is my only concern. But it is funny you were able to serve them something and no one is the wiser on it! I love it when I can do that! I have taken food to potlucks and just kept a portion out for myself and DD to have. But then everyone that spends anytime with me knows that I do not allow gluten flour in my house.

I wish I could label my son's behavior problems and get him a shirt!

I've had meltdowns in public and get the dirty looks. In the

beginning we thought it was Autism, then it was Celiacs, then pain in

the stomache issues, then hunger vs pain, then not eating the right

combos of protein, and now I'm back to thinking autism spectrum or

some thing else...

It's frustrating when people make comments that really are none of

their business. I've got a hard enough time shopping in the grocery

store without the added frustration of other people's comments. I've

learned to mostly ignor others... Harder sometimes than others...
