Guest guest
Does anyone in the U.S. know of any carb. free vitamins? I am specificly looking for B6, Selenium, and a good multi-vitamin. I have called lots of health food stores with no luck. I am hoping someone can help me. Thank you!!
Guest guest
Kirkman Labs (www.kirkmanlabs.com) has a great selection of vitamins, and most are carb free, and hypoallergenic. We use their EveryDay Multivitamin for Daphne, it already has Selenium and B6 (and is a good source of B vitamins). You'll need to supplement with iron, though, as it doesn't contain any, and you'll need a separate source of Magnesium (they sell both). They have other multivitamins, and also sell Selenium, as well as B6 (as Pyridoxile 5 Phosphate) by themselves. Just make sure you check out the ingredient list. They do have a few flavored items that have some carbs. > Does anyone in the U.S. know of any carb. free vitamins? I am > specificly looking for B6, Selenium, and a good multi-vitamin. Guest guest
Wholelife in California makes Cal-Mag-Zinc III specifically for children on the ketogenic diet. It has B6, but not selenium. It has a lot of vitamins. You may also need a bit more magnesium to help with reflux and /or constipation. I give brazil nuts to help with selenium and other trace minerals. Guest guest
Sorry, I have to correct myself. I was looking at the data sheet that I got from Wholelife back in 2000. Looking at the bottle that I received from them last month, I see folic acid, biotin, selenium and chromium on the label!
