Guest guest
After looking at this list, I don't understand why a lot of these drugs are on here. They had Allegra, Zoloft, etc. This might be a better site. It describes Sulfacet better. http://rosacea-control.com/html/pre.html Debi -- three mystery drugs, HELP! Hi, Thanks so much ahead of time. Guest guest
That helps to understand this better. Some meds are used for so many different things. Thanks for the help Sylvia. Guest guest
Actually, you were fine with that link, Debi! Crohn's and Lupus are two of the disorders that I deal with daily (in the support group). With all of the autoimmune disorders, many meds that are prescribed are for off-label use. You're right, chronic illness manifests itself differently in each individual; however, all patients experience some sort of alteration in brain chemistry- from the illness itself and/or secondary depression resulting from having a chronic illness. Use of AD's with these disorders is common. It's the chicken/egg dilemma; dr's and researchers are not sure which came first- did the illness itself cause the chemical changes in the brain, or do these patients have altered neurochemicals (and/or other imbalances, esp hormonal) that make them more susceptible to these illness(es)? Okay, I am out of researcher mode now! LOL! Jaimy three mystery drugs, HELP! > > > Hi, Thanks so much ahead of time. I've looked everywhere, it's time > > for a new drug book. Doc prescribed Sl? Guest guest
Deb, The only thing I can think of is that some of them are for the complications of long-term rosacea or that associated with Lupus or even the emotional consequences. One of my books says it does respond to antibiotics and topical corticosteroids. I agree that some seem kind of strange though. Sylvia Roller M-TEC Student - Session 4-5 gentlsong@...
