Guest guest Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 We have just started my son on the diet and according to the information we got from Hopkins you would see the following if your child was too Ketotic: rapid breathing increased heart rate irritability facial flushing unusual fatigue vomiting They suggest that if your child is too ketotic you give them 2 tbsp. of Orange Juice and then repeat in 20 minutes if symptoms have not resolved. My daughters registered 160 all the time, and immediately. I did not know that was my clue she was in trouble until she became so acid she seizured and seizured and seizured worse than she had pre diet. Others will give you lots of advice.
