Guest guest
, first of all stevia is a natural sweetner so i am suprised that is the culprit. We had issues w/ splenda so we gave up on that and only use the liquid stevia. if you are using natural strawberry exracts, then that has to have carbs in it, I bet it is highly concentrated too. How overweight was before the diet and how tall is she? Stella weighs 42lbs and is 51/2 years old, she gained a pound the first month when she on 1325 cals, we dropped gradually down to 1225 at a 3.75-1 ratio now. She was at 4-1 for a while and with the MCT oil she was way too ketotic. Anyway, long story, we backed off the MCT oil and I'm focusing on trying to get her to eat. With her seizures as bad as they are, Its difficult getting her to eat anything. We would always drop cals by 50, so you could do that for a couple days, or a week to see if anything good comes of it. I do know it would take quite a while for her to loose the weight though. Are you sure it's not height growth? Well, good luck, amanda -- -mom to Stella, 5years old, started keto diet May 10th 2004 still waiting to be seizure free. Also on Lamictal, epam and Diamox. Anisa is almost 10 and a happy healthy girl.
