is 2 years & 5 months old.

He says " gooooooooooooooooooo " " cookie " (Well it sounds like it),

and " Uh uh " for uhoh, & " dadadadadadada " . He says these only when you

ask him to do so.

At 12 months he was saying, mama, nana, dada, baba, alone those lines

and stopped.

He gets special education 2 times a week, and speech therapy once a

week. Is once enough?

(He hasn't been officially with Apraxia yet, but they have been

saying it for months.)

Is it normal for children with Apraxia to not listen? Or act like

they don't hear you? this happens 24/7. I can't control him, I really

feel like I can't. Everyone says you are the mother, he is the child.

I KNOW THIS, but no-one can see how he is! It's craziness!

I've tried timeout with a timer, so that when it dings, he knows it's

over. I have tried tapping his butt, his cheak, his hand. Yelling,

HA! Why yell? He acts deaf! NOTHING works! It seems like my only

oprion is to hold him down! I don't want to result to that.

He goes to bed at 2am and gets up between 7-8:30. That's with NO naps

during the day, and playing out side, trying to get him tired. He

wakes up 2-3 times a night. We co-sleep. If he was in his own bed, he

wakes up every hour.

I am at a loss at what to do. He is in early Intervention, until

december of this year. (He will be 3 October) Then he will be

transistioned over to the school system/district. Will things get

harder there? Will he not be able to get his therapy? (He is on

Medicaid)

I feel like I am going crazy. Literally.
