Guest guest
Good news! Half the battle is getting your child to look forward to therapy and actively participating and it looks like he's winning. I've not recorded my son though the therapist will record some of the sessions and replay them for him and he practices this way. She is great...she uses anything that will spark his interest in talking...computer (pix), recorder and loads of toys! Yesterday was his first day. He will receive therapy 3 times a week for 30 mins each session to start. He has been doing better lately. Ever since the evaluation he's been really trying to say sounds or words, which is terrific. It's as if the ST woke up his mouth- he realizes it IS there. Most words end up sounds or completely wrong, but I am happy to see his effort! Has anyone tried recording sessions with a digi recorder? I was thinking of doing it , maybe even just once a week. Thanks!
