enzymes and poops - viola!

Well, she didn't have aborbtion/weight gain problems and they were not

necessary for her. They say this is common during the adoescent years, with

all the changes going on in their bodies.

I also get my sons enzymes bottled big, I asked the pharmacy to make sure it

was the creon and he said it was and that was the procedure done, and he left

it at that, Is there any harm to the enzymes when they are bottled like that?

Hi Bev,

Our mail order pharmacy uses very large bottle for my son's enzymes. It

looks like they must take a bunch of smaller bottles and dump them into a

large plain bottle. Is it really a bad thing? Should I make an issue out of

it to the pharmacy?

It is my understanding from some folks I just

asked around here. )

they said they knew of some pharmacies that did

buy in really big

bulk and rebottle them. I know WE DO NOT DO

THAT!!!.enzymes

are sent out in their bottle from the

pharmaceutical house.

other meds come that way to us in large bottles

and they if doc wants

someone on 2 pill 2 times aday, for 10 days

...........well ----we have to

count out and give that amount only.-that is not

the way enzymes are

prescribed. Anyway. what Rx do you use.?? Do you

have to use t

them?? Would they charge you more for " own

bottle " ? are they

generic brands? I would ask some of these

questions and then do

whatever fits your mind & pocketbook and your

docs say.

NO, I WAS TOLD TODAY THAT LOTS OF THE CHAIN MAIL ORDERS DO THAT.

WE DO NOT DO THAT..

BUT WE AREN'T A CHAIN , EITHER. YOU SHOULD MAKE THEM TELL YOU THE ORIGINAL

EXPIRATION DATE FROM THE " SHELF " BOTTLE.

Ours does that too....soooooo annoying. we asked if they could get

you guys as our 90 day pharmacy...they said the pharmacy has to sign

up. (its guardian)

We will try to sign up with them if we aren't all ready. I think we

are....We do the 90 day thingy soo , I'll have the gals check in AR today. I

am sure we do that for many .

Make sure the pharmacy hasn't switched brands on you. This happened to us

once. Shantell was on Pancrease MT-16's, and the pharmacy always put them

in their own container. She ended up with a bowel obstruction, and the

doctor happened to notice the bottle. She looked at her pills and found

that the pharmacy had switched from Pancrease to a generic brand. Big no

no! Once we put her back on no generic brands, she was alright again.

Sometimes the HMO's try and pull that stuff on you.
