Do you mean what they do??? My Dr. started kids on oral antibodic and

Coly..... when coughing increased whether viral or bacteria we go on oral

meds. If we on Tobi we do coly during off month. My 4 does Tobi one month

and coly the next month. They want constant coverage since he grew it at a

young age 9 months!

Rosemary in New York with three children with CF - they are 11, 8.6,

4.8........

I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT "

I have the luck of the Irish....

Hi Penny,

I take it you're an Aussie by your email address. Connor hasn't been diagnosed

with PA yet but could probably give you some info on what happens at our

clinic, which follows the Danish method. As far as I'm aware it's the 2 weeks

iv's followed by 3 months inhaled coli. And I think with 1st diagnosis there's

good chance that they'll get rid of it which is why they hit it so hard. Hope I

was some help.......

Kristy

Penny,

We use the Danish approach in our clinic. When psuedo. is diagnosed anytime

its compulsory 3 months of continuous ciproxin and inhaled coli. Then after

this a bronc. is performed to see if its still there and if it is then the

same treatment again. Eilish has this treatment for nine months and then it

went.

Thanks for that I as wondering if you had anything I could

print out to give to a friend on the Danish method. It is her

daughter who has just been diagnosed. Mine is four and hasn't been

diagnosed with it yet.

Thanks again
