Guest guest
Hi! Just another Surgery Update Dr. April (ENT)-was wonderful. He truly is a gentlmen and all around nice guy. The 5 hour delay in the operation was due to radiology. They needed someone to do measurements on brain/skull - he wore a mask screwed in gently to his head like HANNIBAL... We waited there from 6:25 til surgery started at 2:15 - the operation lasted2.5 hours. April came out so so excited with color pix. of 's sinus' - fun- he found a fungus ball behind the polup.........minimal erosion to bone by eye, no nerve damage - and removed polyp. OK I will learn to spell that word.. We got a room at 7 - he never fully " woke " up - he had a low temp 94 " - they said was normal - and he kept throwing up blood. He swalled A LOT they say - who are they????? My husband spend the night - I last called the nurses station at midnight and we was still throwing up...... I am exhaused - I am tired of worrying.. My head will be all white and my teeth will be grinded down to gums........... Rosemary in New York with three children with CF - they are 11, 8.6, 4.8........ I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " I have the luck of the Irish....
