Carolyn, I'd get the johns hopkins book on the keto diet and you'll get all

the info you need to calculate the diet. You need to know your son's ideal

weight which will tell you how many calories to give him (I believe they are

restricted to 75% of the required cals)and protein intake before you start.

Put that info into the stanford planner and it does the rest for you.

I've only been doing this for 6 weeks but it's super easy with the planner,

our dietician is not the best at coming up with vegetarian meal plans so I

do all of her meal plans myself.
