Guest guest
Hi Debbie! has just turned six. In the past we went to the ped. every month for a sputum check and to the clinic every three or four months. He has only been in hospital twice - once for diagnose and once for IV (which seems ages ago...) As long as is doing fine I do not think going to the clinic to often helps. I, personally, see a risk in every visit - but, nevertheless, am alway glad to updated on everything. And for us the clinic visit is always a family travel during which we try to have a nice time. Our next tripp will be on October 9th. All the best to you and Love Caroline with Talau 10 nocf and 6 cf
Guest guest
Since CF often is a slowly progressing illness, it's too difficult for someone who sees the patient daily to notice changes. Going into the clinic, the doctors can more easily notice the changes. If your concerned about cepacia, ask your clinic if they have any segregation procedures. Guest guest
Eilish goes to clinic every three months as recommended. We get the 9am appt. and get in and out quickly.
