Mt Wellington usually gets covered in snow but this year it has been such a mild winter, when snow has fallen it has only been light and lasted only a couple of weeks. Over the weekend it was snowing here, which is soooo unusual - we have been here 7 1/2 yrs and this is only the second time we have seen it. It is really quit chilly with the winds coming straight off the Antartic, quite a shock seeing as we were having 18 only last week and this weekend struggling to get to 6. I'm glad Elisha had such a great day, and I know what you mean about cakes, my two's birthdays are only 3 days apart so we have at least 4 cakes- 2 for home and one each for school.
