We had major behaviors with keppra. It worked well for seizures but he was a

mess.

Just FYI. We have been working with a neuro psych and have found him to be

very helpful in explaining the " whys " of behaviors and the seizures.

has frontal lobe impairment which pretty much screws up his

executive

functions. His doc explained it to me as that we all drive cars and we really

may

want to flip someone off if they cut us off or tell someone we don't like their

clothes but we don't. In kids with seizures and dev. delays, most are

frontal lobe impaired and have no regulation in executive function which keeps

them

from holding back on impulses. The good news is that it gets better at about

the ripe age of 18. Long ways away for us

Just FYI
