Hello all!!

I have noticed a couple of messages concerning haircuts. My son

also does not like getting his hair cut and used to throw such

strong tantrums we never could take him to the barber. Now that he

is older (8 1/2) he is much more tolerant and has the coping skills

in place to be able to make it through (immediate shower right

after!!).

Well, we ended up with a flowbee and fell in love with it!! We

ordered it off the internet and it has been one of the best

purchases ever. You hook it up to the vacuum (we use a shop vac)

and it sucks the hair in, cuts it, and sucks all the snipped pieces

into the vaccuum. NO hair falls so it doesn't " hurt! " You would be

amazed at what a good job it does, you can even change the settings

so you can have different layers.

Just wanted to throw that suggestion out there as I remember how

hard haircuts were for us!!!

i can't help laughing after reading this.....haircuts are a major problem for

us. will has only had 4 in 2 1/2 years - it is that bad. my husband and i have

joked all along that a flowbee would be great, just didn't think they were still

available. we all have to remember the infomercials with the flowbee mullet.

lol.....

thanks for the smiles this grumpy sat morning.
