I think he deserves it and that he is a total fool who screwed up his life.

He was whining to me on the phone today and honestly the most useful thing I

could think of to tell him was to get himself dx'ed with AS and go on SSI.

I did not say it however as I knew he would never do it.

But it's the truth.

No, he doesn't, does he. It's just not his fault.

That is actually what I feel. The people who know me know the story. Those

who do not know me, well, they won't even learn of my existence from that

article.

Too bad that reporter didn't mention WHY he had that court

> order that " made it necessary " to move out...

No. That would have drawn a lot of sympathy, wouldn't it? The court

reporter was one of Lou's former students, by the way.

His lawyer and mine doubt he will actually do any jail time. We have

seriously overcrowded jails and Lou is not the most likely candidate anyway.

He has hung around all this time, not even on bail because he was released

on his own recognizance. Oddly enough, there are things that he wouldn't

do, and he made a specific promise regarding that.

No promises were ever made regarding that money for the journal which

naturally gave him free rein.

It is funny on certain levels. Some levels it is just plain sad.

Yes. The court reporter was probably deeply amused by his former professor.

Ha, ha, I do not think I would mind so much but I don't think it will

happen.

As Jacquie pointed out, he won't be stealing my groceries?

Well of course I am sure he wouldn't have it any other way! CHRIS What is Lou

doing now anyway? I lost track of that whole line did he ever find another job?

Re: Convicted

Oh, and do notice, if you read the article that he is still blaming ME!

The quotations are pure Lou Logic. Amazing.

Salli,

I am so sorry...this can't be easy on you or the kids. I don't have

a clue what else to say...except hold your head up. Anyone who knows

the situation will recognize that this is not about you, it's about

him. Too bad that reporter didn't mention WHY he had that court

order that " made it necessary " to move out...

I actually feel sorry for him, too; it's hard for me to imagine a

person like him doing very well in a jail setting.

Bad all 'round.

OMG Salli! He actually blamed you for his stupidity!

Outrageous. If he goes to jail, how will that impact

you and the kids?

Well, I was crazy when I married him but I have been gradually coming to my

senses.

Sometimes I can hardly believe that this is all real.

Dear Salli:

{{{{{{{{{{Salli}}}}}}}}}}

I'm so sorry about all of this. I hope there is some comfort in closure.

The quotations just make him sound like an ass. Obviously the jury didn't

buy it.

Hugs,

Not like this is any huge suprise to you, but how are the kids

dealing with it? You doing okay? Knowing that he stole money and

knowing that he could go to jail are two different things.
