Guest guest
Anyone familiar with this? I guess its called Flexpoints by mail? For 99.95 you get the at home guidebook, the points calculator, complete food & dining companion , points booster,ww variety pack(2point snacks), 1 issue of ww magazine, nylon organizer, and 26 weeks of toll free phone support for 124.95 you also get pedometer and walking guide, points bracelet, and a fitness training guide. They have a 30 day money back guarentee. I just wondered if this was a good deal. Do you get this stuff when you sign up for weight watchers or do you have to pay additional for it? Does anyone actually use this program? Or does anyone know of any ww groups or sites where I might find people who do?
Guest guest
you have to pay for it all when you join at weight watchers. i think it's a great deal. i purchased it, and then i haven't gone to meetings at all so i am saving myself ten dollars a week by just doing it at home with the kit i purchased. i am going to go for a total of 12 weeks because i ahave 12 week free coupons and that way my sister can go because seh doesn't want to go alone. but after that i'm just sticking with the at home kit. the calculator dies after about a month and a half to two months, so make sure you get extra watch batteries for it. > Anyone familiar with this? Guest guest
Hi . My mom got the At Home package (the 99.95 one), and she seems to really like it. That stuff you listed doesn't come with " regular " WW membership, it costs extra. I bought a " new member " package for like $20 when I joined, and it came with the food and dining companions, and the nylon organizer (which I actually use as my main purse, lol). Then I paid another $20 for the calculator, which I LOVE. I think it seems like a good deal. Like I mentioned before, I get all my support from this group, and haven't been staying for the actual meetings in a while (I've been working Sat mornings, and haven't been able to get up early enough for a meeting, hehe) I go, pay my $10 for the week, step on the scale, and leave. =+) Now, me, I need to be kept in check, and that's why I keep paying them to weigh me every week, instead of just buying a scale and continuing the program on my own. =+) If you want some other opinions, I suggest you go to the Weight Watchers site, and talk to people on the message boards. (the boards are a free part of the site) Catalina > Anyone familiar with this? Guest guest
I bought my points calculator on 4/26, when I joined WW, and I haven't had to replace the battery yet. What are you doing to yours? ;-) Catalina > > Anyone familiar with this? Guest guest
i have no idea. it just stopped working, then i reset it and started over and it worked for another two weeks. now it stoppeda gaina nd reset it , but i don't think i should have to do that like every 2 weeks just to keep using the batteries. i'm not sure if they were used before or what, but i didn't think it should die that quick. > > > Anyone familiar with this? Guest guest
Catalina, Thanks for the info. Im glad I finally found someone who at least knows someone who is using it. Most seem to think the at home and the online are the same thing. Do you know if your mom gets to use any of the online tools like the thing that you can figure out how many points a certain recipe is? I found a couple weight watchers groups but they dont seem to have heard of the at home thing. I went to ww site and their forums but I didnt know where to post. > > Anyone familiar with this?
