Yes! We found out late yesterday that Sam's CI surgery has been

approved by our insurer - we're all SO relieved! Our surgeon really has

gone the extra mile so it looks like Sam's surgery will be the 24th of

May. THANKS everyone for your good thoughts and great advice (Sheri).

My stomach feels like it's now unknotted!

Hi Johanna - I just saw your email to me - I'm so far behind! Thanks

very much - we are SO relieved...

How are you guys faring with all the rain? It hasn't rained much at all

today so I think we're lucky if the scenes on WMUR are any

indication... Stay safe and dry!

ha ha ha - thanks, Jill! I can eat again - maybe that's not such a good

thing?!

Ever notice that doctors never prescribe increasing your stress levels as a

way of dieting? When stressed I don't eat ... and I don't notice it either. I

lose my appetite and just keep myself busy, not stopping for things like

lunch, because then I'd have time to think. (grin)

We're lucky in that our house is pretty high. Even still, we have water in the

basement. And the dirt floor basement of the barn is just a pond. So is the

yard. We were just out there pumping out. Could be a lot worse. Thanks for

checking!
