Hello everyone.

Today was not such a great day. I went to my orthopedic doctor

because of my ankle (3 previous surgeries) today and she wants to

immobilize my left ankle/leg for 3-4 weeks. She would like to put

on a cast and then have me rest it for the 3-4 weeks w/ no driving

and no walking. Hello???? That is pretty much what I am doing

right now and not very well might I add! So I, of course, started

crying and dh asked about waiting until my tummy is healed some

more. We all agreed that it would be too much pressure on my body

so on Sept 24 I am getting my leg in a cast and then that will be

followed w/ a plastic brace and physical therapy. It isn't life or

death and it could be alot worse - but I'm very upset about the

bedrest and no driving part. I'm going insane now!

The good news was that when we got home there was a check in the

mail from my attorney regarding the same ankle issue. He had mailed

a check for the remainding balance from my lawsuit/accident. Since

I haven't worked in almost 5 months this was a great relief and I

can now get my son a great birthday present!

The scary part is the amount of scar tissue and arthritis in the

ankle and that as I get older it will continue to get worse. So I

am going to have to realize that this will be an ongoing battle!

Sorry to whine and complain - I am just upset and all I want to do

is bd and get a big fat pregnant belly!

My love and prayers to and Keli tonight on their big day

tomorrow. And of course sweet Donna and little ! And

everyone else -
