Hello everyone,my name is michelle and my son justin just turned

four march fifth.and his speech is pretty much the same as it was

when he was 28 months, thats when i first suspected something wasent

right but he has developed normally in all other areas

(crawling, walking, social skills)so my husband and i just figured he

was a late bloomer, also that boys dont talk as early as girls(our

daughter talked our heads off at two)his hearing test came out fine

and his doctor said not to worry, but here we are 20 months later and

im still worried, beyond worried really.it seems like he has

regressed in some ways for example: things he could say when he was

two he can no longer say.he is a very bright boy and fully

understands what is being said to him,and it is just heartbreaking

to watch him struggle to express himself.because he knows what he

wants to say he just cant get it out.he can say things like

mommy, daddy, papa, but everything eles is just off for

example:doggie/golie,thankyou/dodo,you/wu,spongebob/pompom pee. my

husband and i have a hmo health provider so its been hard to get a

specialist .Iv been reading about symptoms of various

speech disorders/learning dissabilities and his symptoms seem to be

simular to articulation disorder also dysarthria but i just dont

know if anyone has a child like my justin,or any advice it would be

greatly aprecited please e-mail me at ssmich79@... thank

you and god bless you all and your children sincerly michelle

haberman.
