Guest guest
You can picture me doing exactly the same, although in actuality it's the foot rest I chase. I have one of these nice wide Fellowes foot rests. It has carpet on top, and holds the foot pedals (it's wide enough for 2) quite nicely, but the foot rest itself slips around on my ceramic tile floor. I'm always rolling my chair up under my desk and stretching my feet out to drag the thing back to me. I only curse it 200 times a day or so. The other day, my boyfriend brought in a piece of that stuff you put under throw rugs to keep them in place, and that may work -- but I was (by some miracle!) without work this weekend, and haven't had a chance to test it out very much. Now, are you gonna get " buzzed " on Friday? Jayni (feeling rather tall at 5' 4 " ) Re: Mental pictures -- was Foot rest/stool question I do that too sometimes Jayni, You're right about the long brownette (some people say auburn) although the 'long' part is ending come Friday! You know earlier in this thread I had a picture of Margaret chasing her unruly foot pedal. Sylvia
Guest guest
I have a chair mat under my desk and my husband put velcro under the foot pedal and on the chair mat. My foot pedal stays still now. Before that, I was always chasing it around the floor! Guest guest
Rennie! Didja just HAVE to go there? ;-) While we're pointing out that photo, we better also point out that it's 10 years or so old. I didn't look like any spring chicken when that picture was taken, but I haven't aged well from that point, either! I can't remember what occasioned a bunch of us to submit pictures, but it was during my " complete hermit " phase -- which went on for several years -- and that was the only photo I could find. I'll post a newer, more realistic one some day soon. Ever since Mike got the digital camera, there has NOT been a lack of photos around here -- the man is obsessed.
